The River's Bend

Spend a relaxing vacation in our modern, fully-equipped lake home. With 900 ft of shoreline and 8.5 acres of woods, you can be as private as you like. Pike River Lake is the wide part of the Pike River which flows into Lake Vermillion, but without the boat traffic. Great for fishing, canoeing, and swimming off the private dock. Canoe, kayak and inner tubes available for use. Have supper on the wrap around deck, grill provided.

Sleeps 6-8 with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths: Double bed downstairs, 2 twin beds and a sleep loft upstairs, a futon in the upstairs common room, and a master suite with king bed, soak tub and half bath. Upstairs bedrooms have balconies. Sauna, fireplace, laundry room, satellite TV with HBO, and wireless internet throughout. All sheets and towels are provided. Games, books, and a screened porch with swing for those cozy rainy days. No Smoking Please.

Winter is a great season, too. We are right on the snowmobile trail. Cross country ski from the door out onto the lake. Good ice fishing. Giant's Ridge Ski area (golf in summer) is 30 minutes away and Fortune Bay Casino is 10 minutes.
