2007 -- ELEVENTH ANNUAL REPORT

Lake Vermilion is known for it's quality fishing. What with it's 1200 miles of shoreline, 365 islands, and various structures, it hosts a healthy fishery. With the "large lake" fishery management program of the DNR, the Pike River Hatchery, and the willingness of fishermen to voluntarily release a lot of large fish caught, the fishery of the Lake continues to be an attraction to sportsmen from all over the world. What's listed below is a compilation of large fish caught and reported to the Lake Vermilion Resort Association and/or www.lakevermilion.com.
