Hey kids - would you like to go fishing? A group of folks on Lake Vermilion would like to take you out for
a half day of fishing. All you need is to be between the ages of 10 and 15 and have permission from your
parent or guardian. You don't need fishing tackle (unless you have a rod and reel you want to use)
or bait and lures. We will provide them for you. We ask your parent(s) to drop you off at the Frazer Bay Landing
by noon on July 20, 2011 (Wednesday) and pick you up after 5 pm. We'll be having a shore lunch after the event
(good chow) and your folks are invited too! There will be No Charge for this other than the work you'll put
in fighting all the fish you catch.
There are a couple of rules we ask you to follow:
- All kids must be respectful to the boat/operators and guides...
- All kids must wear a PFD life jacket or vest (if you don't have one, we will provide one for you)
- Kids are prohibited from using cell phones, texting, electronic games, i-pods during
the fishing. Guides and guide boat operators will have cell phones for emergency use. Kids
carrying electronics are requested to keep them turned off in the boats (emergency use only).
- Boat operators will be required to have boats that meet Coast guard safety inspection requirements
- Kids that request coming in early must contact parent to be present when boat returns
