What Do We Do?

Active Members:
  • Volunteer time on Mondays and/or Wednesday mornings cleaning, sorting donations and restocking merchandise
  • Volunteer time staffing sales days, running the cash register, bagging, sorting, straightening and stocking shelves and cleaning up at the end of the day.
  • Craft or re-craft donated items and supplies to sell at our annual holiday bazaar
  • Work or bake for the bazaar and cookie walk
  • Make quilts or other items for raffles or silent auctions for special events
  • Work or model for our semi-annual style show
  • Serve as a member of the Auxiliary board
  • Offer suggestions to make us better
Supportive members:
  • Donate merchandise
  • Shop
  • Tell others about the Thrift Shop
  • If able, contribute to the bake sale and cookie walk at the annual bazaar

Our membership averages 75 to 100 members each year. We need and welcome all members. An orientation is provided for working in the Thrift Shop.
